COVID-19 UPDATES

AS THIS EVENT DEVELOPS WE’LL BE HERE TO OFFER YOU INFORMATION AND ENCOURAGEMENT. BELOW YOU’LL FIND UPDATES FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.

PLEASE READ OUR RE-GATHERING PLANS HERE

We are now meeting again in person at 9 AM & 11 AM with registered groups of 50 people, with our 11 AM service broadcast live online.

We wanted to take a minute to encourage and inform you about how we're handling the developing global event of the coronavirus. We care about our people and our community and want you to know how we are handling this at the current moment.

Below is a list of things that we want to be conscious of during this time.

WE WANT TO BE CALM

As Christians we know that fear is not from the Lord. We are encouraged by this verse in Philippians 4 - “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Though this virus is a real thing and has affected people we want to put our trust in God. He is in control and we know that He reigns over all.

WE WANT TO BE CAREFUL

We are meeting in groups of 50 at 9 & 11 AM by registration, and providing a live broadcast of our 11 AM service. We will not be providing Summit Kids in person at this time. We will also be sharing our children's ministry curriculum with you. Please e-mail Leiisa at summitkids@summitridgechurch.org for access to these resources. We look forward to worshiping again with you in person soon, but are so thankful for the resources we have available to us in the meantime!

WE WANT TO BE SMART

As a church we are following the CDC (as well as State, County and City) guidelines and are keeping up with the new guidelines as they come out.

Our custodial team (we're so thankful for them!) is paying special attention (as always) to ensure everything is as clean as possible.

WE WANT TO BE COMPASSIONATE

During this time we want to make sure that we are checking in on each other. We don't want to reach a place of isolation. As you discuss this with your friends and family on social media please be aware of how your interactions come across to other people. We want to be Christ-like and characterized by God's love. If you are in need, we want to help. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.

WE WANT TO PRAY

Please be praying that God would use this. Be praying for protection. Be praying for those affected directly and indirectly by this. Be praying for doors to be opened for the Gospel.
